MONROL UAE produces radiopharmaceuticals at a site in Al Qusais Industrial Area 1, Dubai, where operations began in 2008. Its output centres on short-lived PET tracers such as F-18 FDG and sodium fluoride, gallium-68 and fluorine-18 derivatives, and lutetium-177 doses used in theranostic cancer treatment. It also lists technetium generators and iodine-131 oral solution. Because these products decay within hours, local production lets nuclear medicine departments in the UAE receive doses quickly.
