FIREX, the trading name of Emirates Fire Fighting Equipment Factory, was founded in 1983 and is based in Industrial Area 13 in Sharjah. It produces firefighting equipment and systems, including fire pumps, foam and suppression systems, fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire-rated doors and cables and smoke ventilation products. The company also custom-builds fire trucks, ambulances and mobile maintenance vehicles for civil defence, industrial and private customers.
