One Third Studio

Dubai Design District studio creating furniture that reworks Emirati heritage objects such as the Al Mandoos chest.

One Third Studio is a furniture design studio listed at Dubai Design District (d3). At Downtown Design it presented AlThara, a display cabinet combining sustainable wood storage with legs made of recycled glass, and Althuraya, a piece for storage and seating built around the structure of a repurposed Al Mandoos, the traditional Emirati wooden chest.
