Palmade is a Dubai company that manufactures disposable cutlery from natural materials, using the fronds that date palms shed each year. Its range includes compostable forks, knives and spoons as well as straws and stirrers, sold loose, individually wrapped, or in retail and foodservice packs. The company states that its products are manufactured in Dubai. According to The National, its cutlery was shown at Expo 2020 Dubai, and its palm pellets were used in a bench presented at Dubai Design Week 2022.
