Themar Al Emarat runs a commercial hydroponic farm in Sharjah spread over roughly 185,000 square metres of desert land. Its greenhouses and open-air areas grow herbs, vegetables and baby leaf greens, and a dedicated unit produces white button mushrooms in volumes of several tonnes a day. The company also operates a nursery that raises vegetable plants and grafted seedlings for other farmers in the UAE. Its crops are supplied to the local market.
