Indoor mushroom farm in the Abu Dhabi desert at Al Rahba, growing oyster, shiitake and lion's mane mushrooms.

Below Farm is an indoor mushroom farm founded in 2021 in the Al Rahba area of Abu Dhabi, about 45 minutes from the city. It grows specialty mushrooms such as pink, silver and king oyster, shiitake and lion’s mane in climate-controlled chambers that regulate light, temperature and humidity, with output reported at up to one tonne a month. The mushrooms are supplied fresh to restaurants and retailers in the UAE, and the company has planned grow-your-own mushroom kits.
